Squid landed at the Kanezaki fishing port swim calmly in the large fish tank at the center of the restaurant. Some fish are purchased directly from relatives who are local fishermen, and all are prepared fresh from the tank upon the guest’s order. Dishes featuring the thick squid and anago (conger eel) that Kanezaki is known for are popular. Choose any fish from the tank, including kawahagi (thread-sail filefish) and sazae (turban shells).
