Misaki-tei is always on the gourmet list in Itoshima. The Western-style dishes are prepared by a former head chef at a major hotel in Fukuoka. The dishes are both delicious and reasonably priced. The sautéed sawara (Spanish mackerel) with Japanese-style sauce uses Itoshima-caught fish and is served only in season. Another standard is the sautéed wild red sea bream in shrimp cream sauce. These taste treats will bring a smile to anyone’s face.
