Enjoy seafood harvested by free diving

This oyster house is run by the Takatake family, who practice free diving to harvest seafood. In addition to oysters, many diners come for the abalone, turban shells, sea cucumbers, and other seafood delights. Owner Kiyoko Takatake aims to present dishes found at no other restaurant. One of her specialties is oyster chanchan-yaki, a dish seasoned with her original miso. She’ll add noodles to the leftover sauce for an extra charge.
