Matsunaga Suisan

This seafood izakaya offers a broad selection of delicious local fish from Fukuoka and other fresh fish from Kyushu. The restaurant’s fish tank is filled every morning with live fish and seafood purchased from the Fukuoka Municipal Fish Market and other sources. The freshly prepared seafood dishes are great-tasting, with superb texture. A fresh local seafood hotpot known as yosenabe is served in the cold season. Another attraction is the restaurant owner, Mr. Matsunaga, who has a warm, friendly character.
