Shuzen Matsuno

A wide range of fish and shellfish can be caught in Fukuoka, because of its geography—with the Genkai Sea to the north, the Ariake Sea looking south, and the presence of Chikugo River, Kyushu’s largest river. Matsuno has a loyal following among locals as it offers high-quality meat and vegetable dishes in addition to the seasonal seafood delicacies from sea and river.
