The black container exterior of the restaurant is impressive. But a step inside reveals a long counter seating 20 with a view of the endless sea from every seat. In this superb location, guests can enjoy fresh seafood as part of a course or chef’s selection. Most of the seafood used for the nigiri (hand-pressed) sushi is caught locally, such as uni (sea urchin), ika (squid), and anago (conger eel). Try this artisanal sushi in the Hatsumae style of the Hatsu coast.
