Fukufuku no Sato is the nickname of the Fukuyoshi community center and market where visitors can buy food and catches from the land and sea. Fukufuku is a restaurant that opened at this facility in April 2021. Its lunch sets are the heart of its menu, made with excellent seafood delivered fresh from the Fukuyoshi Fishing Port every morning. The most popular item is the seafood kaisen-don, a rice bowl topped with 5-7 thick slabs of different seasonal fish such as madai (red sea bream) or kanpachi (amberjack). It makes for a satisfying meal.
