Open grill brings out the flavor of local fish

This restaurant offers fresh local fish direct from the market, as sashimi or grilled in various ways, including on a stick with wood charcoal in a pit (genshiyaki) or over a straw flame. Fish lovers come for a variety of must-try menu items such as the slow-grilled, salted oily sardine (otoro iwashi) or the fried horse mackerel (aji) that is fresh enough for sashimi. Reservations are recommended due to the restaurant’s popularity.
