A restaurant run by a fish store that dates back to 1890. It is a rarity in Yanagawa to have fresh sashimi from the Ariake Sea all year round, but this restaurant also offers sashimi made with kuchizoko (kuzzoko), more well known in the dish “sole meunière.” Two types of skin—the dark top and white bottom of the flounder—are briefly passed through boiling water, chopped, and served alongside the sashimi with the shop’s original sashimi shoyu to enhance the sweetness.
