A sushi restaurant established in the city of Okawa in 1947. It is currently being run by the second-generation chef, Toshihiro Sugimoto, and his wife. The restaurant specializes in seafood caught in the Ariake Sea, such as kutsuzoko (tongue sole), and in June it also features dishes made with fatty etsu (Japanese anchovy). Sugimoto guarantees the freshness of the Fukuoka fish, noting the close proximity of the fishing grounds. There are counter seats, private rooms, and a banquet room to meet the needs of all guests.
