This restaurant is run by the Nakauchi family, which specializes in catching octopus and serving it in dishes that accentuate the great taste. Enjoy octopus at direct-sale prices that has grown meaty in the fast-moving current of the Kanmon Straits. All parts of the octopus are used in such specialty dishes as Hoei no Takomeshi (rice seasoned and cooked with octopus), takoshabu, where you quick-dip into hot broth and eat, and even the limited-quantity “octopus head sashimi” dish.
