This open kitchen lined by a dining counter on two sides has a charcoal grill at the center used for the slow grilling of tasty items from Kyushu, including fresh seafood from Fukuoka. In addition to the grilled items, many people come for the wonderful sashimi. Their specialty is the live saba (mackerel) sliced thinly (known as tetsubiki) served with shoyu, and when served with homemade sesame shoyu sauce becomes goma saba.
