An izakaya for educated tastes, featuring a wide range of obanzai— traditional small dishes with origins in Kyoto—using seafood from Fukuoka prefecture. The heart of the cuisine is the soup stock, and the chef triples the concentration of the stock for such items as rolled omelette or simmered fish or vegetables. Many other seasonal dishes along with a hot-pot course are available, plus a broad selection of regional sakes from across Japan. The quiet, relaxing atmosphere is also very nice.
