Minakaze Chaya

A hilltop machiya townhouse café with a great view of Mt. Kaya and Kafuri Bay. The café is popular for snacks, desserts, and a good meal. Two ways to enjoy tai are in the kobujime zen, a set with kombu-cured sea bream rice and fried shrimp, and the madai gozen, which features the red sea bream, caught wild in the seas off Itoshima, paired with large fried shrimp. The latter has a simpler taste, but both are excellent choices.
