Kado no Uguisu Haruyoshi, main branch

A popular restaurant located on the corner of the Haruyoshi 2-chome intersection. Most customers order the daily special, a filling assortment of sashimi served in a styrofoam box that contains 5 or 6 varieties of seafood direct from the Fukuoka Fish Market. The restaurant’s offerings change with the seasons and the day, including local sawara (Spanish mackerel) and suzuki (sea bass), as well as the Hakata specialty goma saba (sesame mackerel).
